Golf Course Environment Award Winners announced

Golf Course Environment Award Winners announced

Winners of the 2009 Golf Course Environment Awards have been announced, with Graeme Taylor from the St Andrews New & Jubilee Courses and Matt Worster of Michinhampton Golf Club both off on an exciting US study tour. Organised by STRI and sponsored by Syngenta and Scotts, along with Ramsomes Jacobson and Golf Monthly, the Awards champion the very best in environmental management across the country's golf courses.

But the Awards have also celebrated and given due recognition to many more greenkeepers and Course Managers who are doing remarkable things to protect and enhance the environment everyday - as well as producing a fantastic arena and great conditions for members to enjoy whilst they play.

The experiences and knowledge of those involved provide some valuable inspiration for other greenkeeprs and course managers to implement in their own situations.
